Job Description
Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator / Scheduler, Front Office Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Center (AKDHC) Join one of the nation's largest and most respected kidney care practices. Since 1976, AKDHC has provided exceptional care to patients across Arizona through a dedicated team of physicians and healthcare professionals. We are seeking a Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator / Scheduler who is passionate about patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive healthcare experience. What You'll Do Welcome patients and manage front office check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments, procedures, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. Record vital signs, update medication lists, perform urine testing, and accurately document information in the EMR. Communicate patient concerns, clinical changes, or abnormal test results to providers. Support clerical functions including phone calls, filing, scanning, scheduling, data entry and maintain medical supply inventory. Process hospital disposition reports, recall reports, and patient follow-up communications. Qualifications Current certification as a Medical Assistant preferred or a diploma or certificate from a recognized course of study for preparing Medical Assistants as well as previous experience in scheduling patient procedures for a medical office Fluent capabilities in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish and English required Excellent customer service and communication skills for interfacing with patients, staff and outside vendors. 1 - 2 years of front office experience preferred. Ability to support a pleasant, positive and cooperative teamwork environment. The successful candidate must be able to use a stethoscope, computer, scanner, printer, telephone, fax, and copier.
