We're currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Coordinator to join our front office team! About theRole :
As a Patient Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth check-in process for our patients and their families. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, friendly, and thrives in a family-centered, fast-paced environment.What You'll Do :
Greet patients and families warmly and check them in efficiently. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily schedule flow. Confirm appointments. Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and balances when needed. Present treatment plans and explain financial arrangements when needed. Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix. Communicate clearly with clinical team to ensure smooth patient transitions. Provide outstanding customer service and handle concerns professionally. Maintain a clean and tidy waiting room and patient restroom.Requirements:

1+ years of experience in the dental field - preferred! Will train the right candidate. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Must be comfortable discussing financial options and insurance coverage Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Previous experience in a front office or customer service role (dental/medical office experience preferred). Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software (experience with dental software is a plus). A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care. Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
