- Multi-Site Assisted Living Scottsdale / East Valley, Arizona Full-Time | Multi-Site | Growth Opportunity Who We Are Pledge Senior Housing is a fast-growing, boutique senior living company doing assisted living a little differently.
We operate small residential assisted living communities where residents are actually known, families can reach real people, and leadership isn't hidden three layers behind a corporate office. We're growing—and we're looking for a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) who wants to grow with us. This is not a "sit behind a desk and send emails all day" position. Some days you'll be reviewing a MAR, helping solve a scheduling puzzle and checking in with caregivers. Other days you'll be welcoming a new resident, touring a family, preparing for a survey or walking through a home wondering, "Who put that there?" That's assisted living. We embrace it. The Role The Resident Care Coordinator will help support the day-to-day resident care and operations of multiple Pledge Senior Housing communities . Think of this person as one of the connectors between: Residents
+ Families
+ Caregivers
+ Clinical Team
+ Operations
+ Leadership You do not need to currently hold an Arizona Assisted Living Facility Manager certification. You may be an LPN/LVN, experienced caregiver leader, med tech, care coordinator, assistant manager, wellness coordinator, resident care director or assisted living professional who has learned this business by actually doing it. Clinical experience is valuable, but this is not strictly a nursing position . For the right person, our long-term goal would be to help you continue developing professionally, including potentially obtaining your Arizona Assisted Living Manager certification and growing into larger leadership responsibilities as Pledge expands. What You'll Actually Do You'll help keep our homes, residents, caregivers and families moving in the same direction.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting daily operations across multiple assisted living homes Building strong relationships with residents and their families Supporting caregivers and helping create a positive, accountable team culture Assisting with caregiver scheduling and ensuring appropriate coverage Reviewing MARs, medication documentation and related records for completeness and accuracy Coordinating with clinical leadership regarding medications, resident needs, changes in condition and documentation Helping maintain resident files, service plans and required documentation Supporting resident admissions, transitions and move-ins Conducting or assisting with prospective resident tours Following up with families considering placement Helping families feel comfortable, informed and welcomed throughout the process Participating in resident activities, events and engagement Conducting regular walkthroughs of our homes Identifying safety, maintenance, cleanliness or presentation issues before someone has to ask Helping ensure our communities remain organized and survey-ready every day—not just the week before a survey Supporting caregiver onboarding, coaching and day-to-day problem solving Assisting with supplies, groceries, vendors and other routine operational needs Communicating resident or family concerns quickly and appropriately Supporting incident documentation and follow-up Participating in quality assurance and process improvement Occasionally representing Pledge at community events, networking opportunities or referral-partner meetings Helping us figure out better ways to do things as we grow And yes… Sometimes something will come up that isn't technically written in the job description. We're a growing company. "That's not my job" probably won't be our favorite sentence. Neither will micromanagement. We hire good people, give them room to operate and expect everyone—from ownership to caregivers—to occasionally roll up their sleeves. Who We're Looking For Experience in assisted living is important. But we're equally interested in how you operate . You might be a great fit if you're someone who: Has previous assisted living, memory care or senior living experience Understands the rhythm of an assisted living community Has experience supporting caregivers and resident care Understands MARs and medication documentation Has participated in surveys, compliance preparation or survey readiness Has experience with caregiver scheduling Is comfortable communicating with resident families Can confidently walk a family through a community and conduct a great tour Notices the small things before they become big things Can solve problems without needing a 14-person committee Is organized without being rigid Is comfortable with technology and electronic documentation Can manage priorities across multiple locations Has reliable transportation and is comfortable traveling between our communities Bonus Points We'd especially like to meet you if you are: An LPN/LVN An experienced Resident Care Coordinator A Wellness Coordinator An experienced Med Tech An Assistant Manager A caregiver who has grown into leadership Someone with residential/group-home assisted living experience Experienced with memory care Already an Arizona Assisted Living Manager—or interested in becoming one Manager certification is not required for this position . The Personality Part Matters We aren't necessarily looking for the most traditional résumé. We're looking for people with servant hearts and operator brains . You should genuinely enjoy seniors. You should care about caregivers. You should be able to sit with a nervous daughter who's trying to place her mom, then walk into the next room and help a caregiver solve a problem. You should be willing to challenge an old process when there's clearly a better way. And you should enjoy building. Pledge is growing quickly. We're not interested in simply recreating the same senior-living company that's been built 1,000 times before. We want people who bring ideas. People who ask, "Why do we do it that way?" People who can say, "I think I have a better idea." People who understand that hospitality, resident care, operations and business performance aren't competing priorities—they're all part of running a great assisted living company. What Success Looks Like Residents feel known. Families feel informed. Caregivers feel supported and accountable. MARs and documentation are clean. Schedules aren't constantly on fire. Homes look beautiful. Tours feel personal instead of scripted. Surveys aren't terrifying. Problems get communicated early. And leadership doesn't have to chase you to figure out what's happening. That's a successful week. Why Pledge? We're building something. Pledge Senior Housing is expanding its portfolio of boutique residential assisted living communities throughout Arizona, creating opportunities for talented people to grow alongside the organization. For the right person, this role can become much more than an RCC position. As we add communities, we're interested in developing our own leaders from within—including helping talented team members pursue additional certifications, management responsibilities and future operational leadership roles. If you're looking for a giant corporate organization with twelve approval layers and a 94-page policy for ordering paper towels, we may not be your place. If you like seniors, people, problem-solving, autonomy, growth and the occasional controlled chaos of building something meaningful… We should probably talk.
