DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Provide overall operational leadership for the facility. Maintain responsibility for the daily operation of all departments. Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate subordinate leadership and staff. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment. Ensure continuity of operations through effective planning and leadership. Participate in strategic planning and implementation of organizational initiatives. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee development. Address operational issues promptly and implement corrective action when necessary. Participate in leadership meetings and organizational committees. Ensure quality services are provided in accordance with company standards. Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings. Promote collaboration among clinical, nursing, medical, dietary, admissions, and support departments. Monitor program effectiveness and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support quality patient care. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain Joint Commission accreditation standards and participate in survey readiness activities. Ensure facility policies and procedures are implemented consistently. Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Collaborate with Compliance, Risk Management, and Human Resources regarding corrective action plans. Monitor incident trends and assist in developing corrective measures. Conduct regular staff meetings. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions. Identify training needs and coordinate educational opportunities. Promote employee engagement and professional development. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, referral sources, physicians, regulatory agencies, and company leadership. Serve as the primary operational liaison between facility leadership and corporate departments. Prepare reports, operational summaries, and performance metrics as requested. Monitor departmental productivity and operational performance. Assist with budget management and resource allocation. Participate in on-call leadership responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Behavioral Health, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare or residential operations management, preferably within a detox or behavioral health treatment setting
  • Familiarity with ADHS Title 9, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards required.
  • Proven experience supervising and developing diverse teams in a fast-paced treatment environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of facility safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as operational needs arise
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The working conditions are primarily within a 24-hour inpatient healthcare setting, requiring flexibility for occasional evening or weekend coverage. However, the position must be available for on-call emergencies and facility issues and maintain clear communication and professional presence in a high-intensity, client-facing environment. Employees with potential access to protected health information must comply with all procedures and guidelines governed by HIPAA.

$69,693.95 - $83,932.49 per year
