Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with managing patient flow and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the front desk
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and Eaglesoft for scheduling and record keeping
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, paperwork, and patient records accurately
