Job Description

We are looking for a people person to join the Canyon Oaks team—someone who lights up a room and makes patients feel at ease the moment they hear your voice. If you love connecting with others, making them feel cared for, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, this role was built for you. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. While most of the technical aspects of the job can be trained, we are specifically looking for the natural warmth, confidence, and drive to connect with every patient who walks through our door or calls our office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction:
Act as the face and voice of Canyon Oaks by greeting patients and answering calls with a personal touch.
  • Insurance & Administration:
Verify insurance coverage, assist with benefits navigation, and help patients complete necessary paperwork.
  • Coordination:
Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-ups for DME fittings, and manage records in our electronic health system.
  • Patient Education:
Explain equipment and care instructions in plain language (English and Spanish).
Clinical Support:
Coordinate with providers and suppliers, and assist with light medical assistant tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual:
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Personality:
Outgoing, warm, and confident in face-to-face and phone interactions.
  • Skills:
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy clinic setting.
  • Experience (Plus): Prior experience in medical, podiatry, or dental offices, or familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME).
What We Offer:
  • Comprehensive training on podiatry and DME.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Meaningful work that directly improves patients' quality of life.
  • Opportunities for growth within a patient-centered practice.
If you are ready to make a difference in our patients' lives, we would love to hear from you.
