  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Care Facility Admissions Coordinator to join our dedicated team.
In this vital role, you will oversee the admissions process for residents in our senior care community, ensuring a smooth, respectful, and efficient transition for individuals entering our facility. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment that prioritizes resident dignity, safety, and personalized care planning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities while managing operational excellence within a caring setting. You must have experience working with Regional Center Client's as an Administrator ( Title 17 ) Duties Coordinate and manage the entire admissions process for new residents, including assessments, documentation, and communication with families and healthcare providers Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to long-term care admissions, including licensing standards for assisted living, nursing homes, and memory care facilities Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and management to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including Alzheimer's care and dementia support Oversee the collection and verification of all necessary documentation such as medical histories, legal paperwork, and financial information Facilitate smooth transition processes by providing clear information about services, amenities, and community policies to residents and their families Maintain accurate records of admissions activities, bed availability, and occupancy rates to support operational efficiency Lead efforts in managing budgets related to admissions operations while ensuring resource allocation aligns with organizational goals Supervise staff involved in the admission process, providing leadership and training to uphold high standards of resident care and customer service Experience Proven experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or retirement communities Demonstrated knowledge of assisted living operations, memory care programs, Alzheimer's care strategies, and dementia-specific services Prior supervisory or management experience overseeing teams within healthcare or social services environments Familiarity with home & community care practices as well as group home operations is highly desirable Strong understanding of Medicaid/Medicare regulations and billing procedures related to senior care facilities Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare providers, staff members, and external agencies Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where seniors can thrive!
