EPIC BACKFILL
36-48hours Day Shift/12 hours 3 days a week. Located in a tight-knit community in Kings County, Hanford has been serving the Central Valley since 1965. We comprise a 173-bed hospital and many outpatient clinics offering primary and specialty care services. Hanford residents are proud of their city's historic charm and family-friendly atmosphere. Within an hour's travel time, Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks can be enjoyed.
Job Summary:
Oversees the overall function of Sleep Apnea Services. Coordinates the different services of the departments within the hospital network, physician groups and rural health clinics. Helps prepare the departments budget, monitors monthly financial reports, and adjusts operations to assure financial soundness of the departments. Provides direction, management and supervision of all personnel. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Five years' technical experience:
Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Required Facility Specific License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Required Essential Functions:
Establishes professional standards to embrace the network mission and vision. Ensures all services are appropriately equipped and that all equipment meets all standards for patient safety. Conducts in-services to department staff and other network staff as needed. Maintains the proper policy and procedure manuals updated to meet the standards of regulators. Collaborates with the medical director on all the technical aspects of the department including but not limited to technical staff proficiency. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
