This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable with people strategy, operational management, and community relations. Key Responsibilities Lead, organize, implement, evaluate, and manage the facility's programs and activities. Review policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility, ensuring that all policies and procedures are clearly defined and understood. When necessary, assist in the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the activities, programs, and operations of the facility. Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations concerning the operations of the facility. Plan and manage facility walkthroughs with the Executive Director. Maintain the positive image of the facility through positive public relations and community relations programs. Organize and manage meetings with department directors. Ensure all staff attends and participates in all annual in-service training programs Manage preliminary staffing reports, building reports, and related reporting regarding the operation of the facility to present to the Executive Director. Maintain established safety regulations and ensure that all staff, residents, and visitors are following the standard. Preliminarily review accident and/or incident reports and make recommendations to the Executive Director for effective accident prevention programs. Ensure that the residents rights are well establish and maintained at all times. Maintain confidentiality of all resident information. Assist in employment related efforts, including hiring, performance management, mentoring programs, professional development opportunities, scheduling, training, separations, etc. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field of study highly preferred. Current unencumbered California RCFE Administrator license 3+ years of experience in managing staff and procedures in an assisted living or healthcare facility. Maintain a demonstratable knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations that could impact the facility. Ability to work well in both a team-based environment and an independent manner. Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish this job. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking skills required. Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, lead, and direct the work of others. Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
