$95.02 - $142.53 per hour About the Opportunity El Camino Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to provide 24-hour leadership and oversight for nursing and technologist practice and operations within our Critical Care Unit (CCU). This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, advancing quality patient care, supporting staff development, and driving clinical and operational excellence. The Clinical Manager partners closely with physicians, clinical leaders, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the unit provides safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care while meeting organizational goals. What You'll Do Provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight for nursing and technologist practice within the assigned unit. Lead and develop a high-performing clinical team through coaching, mentoring, education, and performance management. Support staff recruitment, retention, engagement, and professional development. Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, supply management, and unit budget responsibilities. Promote evidence-based nursing practice and high standards of patient care. Lead and support quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory and survey requirements. Partner with physicians, clinical directors, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Address employee relations and labor relations matters in collaboration with organizational leadership and HR. Establish and achieve unit goals aligned with organizational priorities. Lead teams through change and empower staff to identify opportunities to improve clinical, operational, and financial performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ). Current California RN license . Minimum 3 years of progressive clinical leadership experience with demonstrated management skills. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in the specialty area . Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred:
