In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, guiding them through treatment plans, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth administrative process. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive patient experience while maintaining efficient office operations. Responsibilities Act as the main liaison between patients, families, and the dental team, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout treatment processes Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate treatment timelines using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems Explain treatment plans, insurance coverage, and financial options to patients with clarity and enthusiasm Manage patient records with strict confidentiality, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with health regulation policies Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and assist patients with understanding their health insurance coverage Support administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and maintaining organized files in medical office systems Communicate effectively via phone and in person to answer questions, confirm appointments, and provide guidance on treatment procedures Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for documentation and correspondence Familiarity with health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Experience supporting medical administrative functions including patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations Understanding of medical terminology relevant to pediatric dentistry and orthodontics Proficiency in managing health insurance processes, claims, and benefits verification Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Comfortable making phone calls for appointment scheduling or follow-up communication Typing skills that ensure accurate data entry and record keeping Join our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
