In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to treatment coordination. Your expertise in dental administrative support, combined with your exceptional customer service skills, will help foster positive patient relationships and streamline office operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving dental practice committed to delivering outstanding patient care and service. Responsibilities Manage patient intake, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communications using OPEN DENTAL and Practice by Numbers. Verify insurance coverage, conduct insurance eligibility checks, and perform insurance verification Handle medical billing processes, including collections, and payment posting while maintaining meticulous records Review and process dental documentation including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and care plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Customer service with attention to details Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Experience Proven clinic in patient coordination and administrative support Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, health insurance policies, and health information management practices Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, ICD coding standards for billing purposes Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, ) along with (10 key typing) Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and customer service excellence Ability to handle clinical confidentiality policies diligently while managing sensitive patient information Join our team today if you're passionate about providing top-tier patient care in a fast-paced dental environment!
