Pay:
- Starting at $22 (Based on Experience) Job Overview The Domestic Violence Case Manager provides comprehensive case management services to survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Duties:
Conduct intake assessments and identify client needs, strengths, and barriers. Develop individualized service plans in collaboration with clients. Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning for survivors of domestic violence. Assist clients in obtaining housing, public benefits, healthcare, legal services, employment, education, and other community resources. Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor progress and provide ongoing support. Advocate on behalf of clients with community agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and other service systems. Accompany clients to appointments, court hearings, or community resource meetings when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, case notes, and reports in accordance with agency and funding requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and supervision. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Provide referrals and follow-up services to ensure continuity of care. Assist with outreach activities and community education regarding domestic violence awareness and prevention.Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years experience working with domestic violence survivors, crisis intervention, case management, or related social services preferred. Knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, trauma-informed care, and victim advocacy practices. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries while building rapport with clients. Experience working with culturally diverse populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable.Education:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree from Accredited University
- Masters Degree (Highly Desired)
