The Urgent Mental Health Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing urgent mental health programs and services within the Hill Country Community Clinic. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned which may become essential to the position. Program Development and Management Develop and implement urgent mental health programs and services in accordance with clinic goals and industry standards. Oversee the day-to-day operations of urgent mental health programs (CARE Center and Mobile Crisis Outreach Team), ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Clinical Supervision Provide clinical supervision and guidance to urgent mental health staff, including therapist, counselors, and care managers. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and best practices in mental health care. Strategic Planning Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for urgent mental health services. Identify opportunities for program expansion and improvement. Collaboration Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to integrate urgent mental health services into the overall clinic system. Foster partnerships with community organizations and mental health agencies. Quality Assurance Monitor and evaluate the quality of urgent mental health services, implementing improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards. Staff Development Recruit, train, and mentor urgent mental health staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and supportive work environment. Budget Management Develop and manage the budget for urgent mental health programs, ensuring financial sustainability. Allocate resources effectively to support program goals. Data Analysis and Reporting Collect and analyze data on urgent mental health outcomes and program performance. Prepare and present regular reports to management team. Crisis Intervention Develop and implement protocols for crisis intervention and urgent mental health services. Ensure staff are trained to handle crisis situations effectively.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONS

Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. Licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., psychologist, social worker, counselor). Proven experience in program development and management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Several years of experience in a leadership role within the mental health field. Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a range of mental health issues.Certificates and Licenses:

Must have highest level of language skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management.Math Ability:
Must have high level math skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability:
Must have very high reasoning skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems; Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook; QuickBooks accounting software; FileMaker Pro; Internet browsers.Equipment Skills:
Proficient with computers, printers, copiers, faxing, 10-key, multi-line telephone systems.WORK ENVIRONMENT
