Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Services Director to lead and oversee the delivery of exceptional healthcare services within our Senior Living community. This vital role involves managing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident rights and quality resident care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing administration, extensive experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health settings, and a passion for leading care teams to excellence. As a key leader, you will drive initiatives that enhance resident well-being, uphold industry standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical services, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations. Supervise and manage care staff and med techs, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care. Develop, review, and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records management. Oversee documentation review processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and regulatory adherence. Ensure the proper management of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medication documentation to support safe patient care practices. Monitor shift management to optimize staffing levels for efficient operations while maintaining quality care delivery across memory care, hospice care, home health, and acute care services. Lead efforts in regulatory compliance audits, staff training, resident's rights advocacy, and documentation review procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative care strategies that improve resident outcomes and satisfaction. Manage budgets related to clinical operations while ensuring resource allocation aligns with organizational goals. Experience Proven experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with demonstrated success in nursing administration or healthcare management roles. Supervising experience managing multidisciplinary teams within long-term care or home health agencies. Extensive knowledge of RCFE regulations, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used in healthcare settings for documentation review and patient recordkeeping. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy relevant to eldercare and chronic disease management. Experience managing care facility teams during shifts with a focus on patient care quality and safety protocols. Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding clinical staff through regulatory changes while fostering a positive work environment.
