This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a strong Medical Assistant Supervisor, Lead Medical Assistant, Clinical Supervisor, or Healthcare Operations professional ready to advance into multi-site clinic leadership. You'll partner directly with the Executive Director and Operations Manager to improve patient flow, develop high-performing teams, and support exceptional patient care in a fast-growing physician-owned medical group. Why You'll Love This Role Leadership position with direct impact on clinic operations Opportunity to oversee multiple outpatient clinic locations Work alongside executive leadership Career growth into senior operations management Collaborative, physician-led organization Fast-paced environment where your ideas make a difference What You'll Do Supervise Medical Assistants, front office, and clinical support staff Lead daily operations across multiple outpatient clinics Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow Monitor clinic productivity, quality, and operational performance Coach, mentor, and develop team members Conduct employee evaluations and performance coaching Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff training Ensure EMR accuracy, chart readiness, and workflow efficiency Support providers to maintain exceptional patient care Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory standards Partner with leadership on quality improvement initiatives and operational growth Qualifications 3+ years of outpatient medical clinic experience 1+ year of supervisory, lead, or management experience Strong knowledge of clinic operations and patient flow Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Medical Assistant Certificate preferred Current BCLS certification Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish Multi-site clinic experience Experience leading Medical Assistants and front office teams Process improvement or workflow optimization experience Requirements Ability to travel between clinic locations Valid California Driver's License (or reliable transportation) Successful background check Flexible schedule as business needs require About Paloma Medical Group Paloma Medical Group is a growing, physician-owned healthcare organization providing Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Concierge Medicine, and specialty services throughout South Orange County.
