Nestled in beautiful residential homes, our dedicated clinical team provides 24/7 care in a safe and supportive boutique setting with 6-8 clients per home. Our comprehensive clinical programming blends individual and group therapy with experiential therapies such as art, music, and equine therapy. In addition to psychological evaluations, we prioritize getting to know each clients life story and personal history. This insight into their lived experience helps us craft a treatment plan that is as unique as they are, ensuring we address not just their symptoms, but the root causes of their struggles.

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director to lead one of our core behavioral health programs in Southern Orange County. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to guide a team of clinicians while shaping the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee clinical operations and treatment planning for assigned programsProvide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, including associate-licensed cliniciansDesign and implement engaging, evidence-based clinical programmingEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission)Collaborate with leadership on admissions, staffing, and performance initiativesConduct staff evaluations and provide ongoing performance feedbackParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training of clinical team membersReport clinical outcomes and challenges to the Executive DirectorMaintain a person-centered, culturally sensitive treatment environmentUphold organizational policies, client rights, and ethical care standards
QualificationsRequired:
Minimum - Associate licensure (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) and active registration with the California BBS. Preferred - full independent licensure in California.

Masters degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 3 years experience in a behavioral health settingPrior supervisory or clinical leadership experiencePossess valid drivers license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 23 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.

Ability to pass background checks (state, federal, Livescan, and ADP screening)
Preferred:
Fully licensed clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD)Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across multiple levels of careSkills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated leadership and team management capabilitiesFamiliarity with clinical documentation standards and payer requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to climb stairs and lift up to 20 poundsFrequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment
