Job Description

Overview Bayside Marin Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Clinical Services to lead and support our clinical team in delivering high-quality mental health care. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered treatment environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting individuals on their mental health and recovery journeys. This position plays a key role in guiding clinical staff, maintaining program excellence, and driving positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in mental health Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills Experience implementing
ASAM Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday Flexible working hours
Compensation:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.
  • Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.
  • Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.
  • Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
  • Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.
  • Represent the company at meetings in the community.
  • Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment.
  • Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required.
  • Five or more years' experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required.
  • Three or more years' supervision experience required.
  • Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Meet DWMHA credentialing requirements for professional practice Masters Level licensed behavioral health professional as QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) CMHP (Child Mental Health Professional), and QMRP.
  • Must possess a full license in one of the following disciplines:
LLP/LP, LPC, LMSW, NP/RN.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.
