  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction
  • This position plays a crucial role in our organization, overseeing the ground-up construction, expansion, addition, and renovations of healthcare facilities, including Medical Office Buildings (MOB), hospitals, and seismic retrofits.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale healthcare construction projects, including experience with seismic retrofit, NPC upgrade, SPC upgrade, and OSHPD renovations. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all phases of the construction project, from initial planning and foundation laying to final completion and handover. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. Oversee the construction of healthcare facilities, including MOB, hospitals, and parking garages. Manage seismic retrofit, NPC upgrade, SPC upgrade, and OSHPD renovations. Ensure all worksites comply with health and safety regulations, and that all staff and contractors are aware of their responsibilities in this regard. Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress of each project, including any challenges or issues that have arisen and how these are being addressed. Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing their queries or concerns promptly and professionally. Continually review and update project management strategies and methodologies, ensuring they remain effective and relevant.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare construction project management. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from the ground up, including expansions, additions, and renovations. Extensive knowledge and experience in seismic retrofit, NPC upgrade, SPC upgrade, and OSHPD renovations. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, from construction staff to clients. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in construction project management software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
