The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans, treaqtment coordinating, insurance billing, Scheduling the patient and work on patient satisfaction and be a team player.
Duties:
confident communication skills and being familiar with sales line in dental office, knowing the dental cods and how to verify the insurance coverage with insurance company. Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure timely communication with patients regarding their care. Manage medical records and documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize various EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and Dentrix for efficient patient management. Conduct insurance verification and assist with medical billing processes, including CPT coding and
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding. Provide exceptional patient service through effective phone etiquette and clerical support at the front desk. Schedule appointments, manage multi-line phone systems, and maintain organized filing systems for patient records. Assist in the intake process for new patients and support the overall administrative functions of the clinic or dental office. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans that meet patient needs. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred; dental office experience is a plus. Familiarity with medical coding (ICD coding), billing processes, and health information management. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent typing skills and ability to handle 10-key data entry efficiently. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance patient communication. Knowledge of dental terminology is beneficial for those applying to dental clinics. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.
