Job Description
Behavioral Health Coordinator I - Mobile Crisis Response Team Program Exodus Recovery, Inc is looking for a full-time Behavioral Health Coordinator I for our Mobile Crisis Response Team located in San Diego, CA.
Program Overview:
The Mobile Crisis Response Team Program (MCRT) is an innovative new program for San Diego County. MCRT will respond to urgent/emergency (non-911) calls and provide crisis intervention for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis, and to connect them to the most appropriate level of care. These services will be provided to adults, including Transitional Age Youth (TAY) and older adult populations in the North Coastal San Diego County Region. This is a field-based program which includes transporting clients.Qualifications/Requirements:
Three (3) years clinical experience in the health sciences related field with a minimum of one-year direct client care experience working with complex clients with SMI who may have multiple conditions such as mental health, substance use, physical health, trauma, and/or homelessness histories, be high utilizers of the health system or otherwise require an intensive level of care. Required experience with clinical EHR and DMH and/or DHS clinical documentation platform(s) if required by contract. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and show mature judgment. Valid CA driver's license and is required. Good driving record with 3 years of driving experience and candidate must be 21 years old or older to drive. 3/12 hours shifts per week.Education:
Master's degree in a mental health related field required Associate registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred. Valid CA driver's license and good driving record is required. Current Continuing Education for maintenance of registration as applicable. Current CPR Certification preferred.
