Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Home Health Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of our home health services. This pivotal role combines healthcare management expertise with strong office leadership, ensuring seamless coordination of clinical and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional supervisory skills, and possess comprehensive knowledge of medical office systems and healthcare regulations. Your energy and proactive approach will drive efficiency, compliance, and excellent patient care delivery within our home health program. Duties Oversee daily administrative operations of the home health office, including scheduling, patient records management, and clinician management. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations, JCAHO standards, and other healthcare compliance requirements related to medical records, privacy policies, and documentation practices Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as KanTime to maintain accurate patient data, treatment plans, and utilization management documentation. Coordinate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth operations and acute care services in the home setting Implement human resources policies related to staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development Monitor clinic productivity metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement in practice management and patient outcomes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of managed care policies, medical terminology, medical records procedures specific to home health services Experience Proven administrative experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in home health or managed care environments Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for scheduling, documentation, and communication purposes Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for accurate data entry and record keeping Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and internal correspondence Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in data entry and documentation Understanding of medical terminology relevant to home health services is highly desirable Join us in making a difference by ensuring our home health operations run smoothly with enthusiasm and precision.
