This is not a "stand back and supervise" position. This is a heavily hands-on leadership role where you will be shoulder-to-shoulder with the team every day cooking, inspecting, coaching, and helping drive execution at an elite level. What You'll Do Heavy hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style Lead the daily production of proteins, starches, sauces, and prepared meals Write and execute daily prep lists Learn all kitchen positions to continue development toward Head Kitchen Manager status Inspect food to ensure it is cooked, prepped, and portioned to company standards Maintain strict quality control before product reaches customers Train and coach hourly kitchen staff while helping build a strong team culture Uphold sanitation, food safety, and ServSafe standards Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on culinary execution Help drive accountability, urgency, and consistency within the kitchen What We're Looking For Hungry to grow with a quickly expanding company 2-3 years of supervisory kitchen, lead cook, chef, or management experience High-volume kitchen or production kitchen experience strongly preferred Bilingual (Spanish / English) strongly preferred Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques Experience with large-batch cooking, catering, banquet production, or commissary kitchens Passion for food quality, consistency, and execution Team-oriented while still capable of operating independently Current ServSafe Manager Certification Reliable transportation to and from work (no exceptions) Compensation & Benefits $60,000 annual base salary (up to 50 hours/week) Monthly bonus opportunities Paid time off and sick time Health insurance for qualifying team members Free shift meals Clear promotion path toward Kitchen Manager leadership opportunities Who Typically Wins Here Leaders who are comfortable working hard in a fast-paced environment Individuals who take pride in standards and consistency Team members who naturally step up and lead from the front People who care deeply about growth, accountability, and execution Individuals who want long-term opportunity not just another kitchen job Pay:
