Colorado MS Center is seeking an intelligent, highly motivated Patient Care Coordinator to become an integral member of our small, high-performing team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to develop advanced clinical skills, learn the business of medicine, participate in clinical research, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with multiple sclerosis. This is not a typical medical assistant position. You will become deeply involved in patient care, insurance navigation, infusion medicine, and clinical research while working one-on-one with our physician. Responsibilities Welcome and room patients Obtain vital signs and perform medication reconciliation Prepare physician progress notes before patient visits Summarize laboratory results, MRI reports, and outside medical records Order laboratory studies and MRI scans Coordinate follow-up care Communicate with patients by phone and secure messaging Insurance & Care Coordination Obtain prior authorizations Work directly with insurance companies Assist patients with manufacturer copay assistance programs Draft insurance appeal letters Coordinate specialty pharmacy services Infusion Center You will be cross-trained to administer infusion therapies under physician supervision. Because this role includes infusion responsibilities, an active EMT-IV certification is required. Clinical Research You will become the lead study coordinator for an ongoing Phase IV pharmaceutical clinical trial, including: Coordinating study visits Maintaining regulatory documentation Collecting study data Communicating with sponsors and monitors Ensuring protocol compliance This is an outstanding opportunity for someone interested in neurology, clinical research, or academic medicine.
