Concussions frequently trigger or exacerbate emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This position balances specialized direct patient care with clinical leadership, program development, and interdisciplinary care coordination. You will also lead a specialized team of therapists and neurofeedback technicians while collaborating directly with physicians, speech pathologists, physical therapists, and neuro-optometrists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for our patients. Duties Design and optimize behavioral health protocols specifically tailored to concussion recovery in a specialized integrated care clinic. Lead a team of mental health therapists and neurofeedback technicians. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, and psychosocial functioning following a concussion. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms. Collaborate closely with other members of the concussion clinic team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients. Requirements Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current independent licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist) in Colorado. Experience in a leadership or management role preferred. Specialized training or experience in trauma preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
