Manager, Quality Improvement for Clinical Integration Network Waterbury Hospital - 3.4 Farmington, CT Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Position Overview The Manager of Quality Improvement will collaborate with the Clinical Integration Network (CIN) management team to design, implement and monitor the quality outcome measurements for the CIN. A key focus of this position will be to design relevant clinical and other measures and workflows in an administrable manner that facilitates reporting and the fostering of performance improvement. Responsibilities Work with the CIN leadership team and various committees to identify clinical measures to be collected and measured within the program Assist with development and maintenance of registries, care management and other IT systems Direct the day-to-day operations regarding the use of applicable reporting systems for CI data collection Develop and execute educational plans including training schedules, resources and material development for CIN initiatives Validate information used and measured for CIN performance, including appeals and review processes Coordinate CIN program team efforts to complete data collection across the continuum of care Ensure that continuous quality improvement techniques are in place to evaluate, and analyze data, develop root cause analysis, and report findings to Quality Committee for discussion and appropriate interventions as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or other related field Previous experience in quality management and/or utilization management 3-5 years of experience in developing/ implementing programs in ambulatory settings Experience with quality management programs (e.g.
NCQA, PCMH, ACO
) Knowledge of population health management Knowledge of relevant IT systems (e.g. EMR, risk adjustment, disease registry and care management) Strong writing, analytical and communication skills Ability to work with all organizational levels
