POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Regional Patient Access Manager, the Regional PAS Subject Matter Expert serves as a trusted expert for Patient Access systems, workflows, and revenue cycle processes. This role partners closely with regional operational leaders to identify denial‑prevention opportunities, evaluate financial risks and trends, and support the implementation of effective mitigation strategies. The position leads the assessment and recommendation of improvements to systems, standard work, policies, and procedures through site observations, operational data analysis, and performance reviews. The Regional PAS Subject Matter Expert also oversees Patient Access processes to promote accurate reimbursement and reduce denials by conducting internal audits, monitoring key performance indicators, and analyzing dashboard data to ensure departmental and organizational goals are achieved. Qualifications Education High school diploma/GED equivalent or equivalent Experience Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a health care setting, EPIC, patient access revenue cycle management, and or related field.
