Schedule:
Day Shift, 40Hours Per Week Weekends:

As the Staffing Coordinator, you will be a vital member of a dynamic team responsible for… Responsible for the administrative management of the Staffing & Scheduling System. Initiates, coordinates and monitors staffing schedules in relation to patient/unit activity and each unit's budget in an effort to provide cost‑effective staffing for all nursing departments. Responsible for specific functions related to the payroll process. Supervises and monitors all users of Symplr. Responsible for providing nurse leaders with management reports related to staffing issues and budgetary information. As the Staffing & Scheduling administrator, educates users and supports the administrative process of the system, including analytics.Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Receives nursing department sick calls, in addition to assisting with finding coverage for long term LOAs. Monitors and coordinates the assignment of nursing, including per diems, constant attendants and UR/PCTs. Reports all significant variances in staffing distribution to appropriate management personnel. Provides on‑going management, supervision and maintenance of the Staffing & Scheduling System and any users of the system. Produces, distributes and maintains nursing schedules. Acts as a resource to staff, directors and CNO/Vice President. Maintains system to develop and generate management reports as requested. Responsible for specific functions regarding payroll process and maintenance. Initiates and handles specific functions and procedures for emergency plans. Attends regular meetings with Administration/Patient Services.Staffing Coordinator Responsibiites Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Associate's Degree in Business or Office Management preferred. Computer course with emphasis on keyboarding, PCs, spreadsheets, word processing, data base systems preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in health care setting preferred. Previous experience with computer systems, relative to patient classification system and staffing and scheduling or a similar field preferred.Staffing Coordinator Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be proficient in Reasoning, Math, Reading, Writing, Speaking clearing and with confidence. Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, direct and control the flow of communication and tasks within the job duties and responsibilities independently. Demonstrates math skills in order to generate, evaluate, interpret, and distribute various staffing reports. Ability to perform detailed assignments, work efficiently under pressure and relate to hospital staff while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Maintains a high degree of concentration despite numerous interruptions. Displays knowledge of employees and their skill level in order to distribute resources appropriately.
