We have been helping patients in our community for over 20 years and have been under new ownership for almost 2 years. We are professional, supportive, customer-centric and our goal is to provide exceptional patient care for individuals with hearing needs. Hearing Health & Wellness Center is your trusted local provider for hearing evaluations, hearing aids, and personalized treatment. Located in the heart of central Connecticut, we care for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We are seeking an audiology patient care coordinator to work with the Audiologist. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
are central to the role: Answer and return phone calls from patients. Answers patients' questions regarding scheduling and insurance payments. Enter data into a computer medical record system. Interact directly with the patient. Counsel patients on technology applications including bluetooth and phone use. Clean, maintain, & repair hearing devices. Unbox and prepare hearing aid orders. Basic hearing aid troubleshooting. Maintain and utilize equipment. Continued growth and responsibility in the future. To ensure success candidates should also possess the following
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
: Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with teammates, patients, or customers. Clear speaking voice for interacting with our hard of hearing patients. Friendly, welcoming, and kind to all patients. Excellent communication skills both verbally & in writing. Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software. High School Diploma. 1-2 years in the medical or audiology field preferred. Audiology or communication science students will be considered. Our ideal candidate is available to work 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm. We offer a competitive salary, PTO, potential for future growth, and continued education opportunities. $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
