Job Description
Job Details Under the general direction of the Director Rehabilitation Medicine, the Manager Cardiac Rehabilitation is directly responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the management and clinical practice activities for Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Provides direct care to clients from adolescent through late adulthood.

Essential Functions:
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Jefferson Health hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
- Monitors and supervises the Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation participants in the daily exercise session to ensure a safe and professional environment through the progressive rehabilitation of the client.
- Promotes and provides leadership and education for the Cardiac Rehabilitation staff to promote quality assurance activities, effective program operations, employee development, and an efficient, effective functioning department and staff.
- Develops and participates in the clinical teaching activities for the members of all phases of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to provide for the educational components of the client's care.
- Accountable for the clinical and operational structure to provide a quality program for the participants.
- Facilitates continuity of care from the hospital setting throughout the outpatient arena to provide efficient and effective integration and coordination of all phases of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
