Job Description

About the Role At JPA Health, the Senior Director is a senior client leader responsible for owning complex healthcare accounts and driving communications strategy that delivers real business impact. This is a hands-on role. You will lead strategy, guide execution, and ensure teams are delivering high-quality work across multiple accounts. You will partner closely with the Managing Director while operating independently as the day-to-day senior lead for your clients. You will also work closely with teams across Client Services and JPA Labs to ensure coordinated delivery. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced agency environment and can manage multiple priorities with clarity and focus. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Lead communications strategy across assigned healthcare accountsServe as a senior advisor to client stakeholdersAlign commercial, medical, and corporate priorities into clear plansLead strategic planning sessions and major client reviewsEnsure deliverables reflect strong thinking and clear direction Client Leadership Own senior client relationshipsLead client meetings independentlyIdentify risks and opportunities across accountsEnsure consistent, high-quality delivery across teams Growth Identify opportunities to expand existing client workSupport new business efforts including pitches and proposalsContribute to overall account growth Team Leadership Mentor Engagement Leads and junior team membersGuide teams through complex workstreamsSupport strong collaboration across teamsHelp improve delivery efficiency and prioritization About You 8 to 12+ years of experience in healthcare communications within an agencyStrong background in PR or corporate communicationsExperience working with biotech, pharma, or life sciences clientsFamiliarity with FDA and regulatory considerationsProven ability to lead client relationships independentlyStrong strategic thinking with the ability to connect work to business outcomesCommercial awareness and comfort contributing to growth effortsAbility to manage multiple priorities at once and stay focused under pressureClear communicator who can guide both clients and internal teamsHigh level of ownership and accountability What Makes Us Different JPA Health offers you the opportunity to work with purpose as you achieve extraordinary results for our clients.
