Job Description

Nature Coast Health Care is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Clinical Lead. This leadership position is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced primary care environment and enjoys mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring exceptional patient care. The Clinical Lead serves as the clinical leader for the organization, partnering closely with providers, office leadership, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to promote operational excellence, accountability, and outstanding patient outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for all medical assistants, nurses, and clinical support staff. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and clinical onboarding. Develop and facilitate ongoing clinical skills labs and competency training. Ensure adherence to company policies, clinical protocols, infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and quality initiatives. Monitor clinical workflows to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality of care. Manage clinical inventory, medical supplies, and vaccine inventory while maintaining appropriate stock levels and controlling costs. Work collaboratively with providers to address workflow concerns and improve communication. Serve as the liaison between providers and executive leadership, including the Chief Operating Officer. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across clinical departments. Assist with performance coaching, employee development, and corrective action when appropriate. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, HEDIS/HCC programs, Value-Based Care initiatives, and other organizational goals. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. Qualifications Required Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a medical office or outpatient healthcare setting. Experience in primary care or family medicine. Strong knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff while maintaining accountability. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Experience in Value-Based Care, Medicare Advantage, HCC, HEDIS, ACO REACH, Experience with medical office inventory management and clinical operations. Experience developing and delivering staff education and competency training.
