$69,680 JOB SUMMARY The Director of Developmental Health is responsible for managing developmental health and behavioral services. This position will oversee staff activities focused on children and families with the goal of , supporting their developmental health needs. These offerings are delivered to the community in accordance with the Coalition's mission, plan and in accordance with State requirements. This role requires a high degree of commitment to partnerships with our families, child care providers and community partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY TASKS
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to reporting clear, concise, and accurate information to improve outcomes. Oversee strategies that support planning and implementation for early identification, , developmental health activities and positive child outcomes. Support relationship development between staff, families, and child care professionals to create opportunities of engagement, learning and behavior supports. Maintain partnerships with local agencies to support coordinated services for children with developmental or behavioral needs. Serve as the agency's liaison for family resources and developmental health activities ensuring families understand developmental milestones, screening results and available services. Coordinate and support behavioral interventions, including access to specialists and strategies for managing challenging behaviors and promoting social-emotional development.
