Job Description

Job Summary:
The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new patients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience. This role involves scheduling appointments, collecting patient information, verifying insurance, and serving as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for new patients via phone, email, or in person Schedule initial appointments and explain office policies and procedures Collect and enter patient demographic and medical information into the system Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations Ensure all required intake forms and documentation are completed accurately Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper patient flow and readiness Provide patients with information about services, providers, and next steps Follow up with patients regarding missing information or appointment confirmations Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Assist with front desk duties as needed

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
