Initiatives calls to patients to schedule appointments utilizing referral information and coordinating with relevant departments and service lines. Registers patients and performs benefit eligibility verification applicable for patient visits. Completes authorization and pre-certification related to patient visits. Serves as a liaison with insurance companies to submit accurate information needed for approval. Check patients in to visits and verify insurance, primary care provider, and vital statistics in the patient's chart are accurate. Check patients out ensuring patients have all referrals, education materials, and paperwork needed prior to leaving. Answer phone calls for three service lines and transition calls to appropriate departments/personnel. Appropriately and efficiently relay through messages to staff. Print patient education materials for patients. Orders and maintains supplies for the department within budget guidelines. Oversees clinic-based operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflow. Other duties as assigned. This position will travel between two locations: 999 Stone St, Suite B in DeLand and 1061 Medical Center Drive, Suite 301 in Orange City.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft office [Required]
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management and outside vendors and medical office staff [Required]

Work Experience:
- 2+ years office experience [Required]
