Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Orders Manager to oversee the physician order management process and support our growing clinical operations team. This position is essential to ensuring timely physician signatures, regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and efficient coordination between clinical, billing, and physician offices. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, are highly organized, and have experience in Medicare-certified home health, we would love to hear from you. What You'll Do Manage the physician order process from creation through signed completion. Monitor and follow up on outstanding physician orders to ensure timely turnaround. Coordinate Plans of Care, recertifications, supplemental orders, therapy orders, verbal orders, and discharge documentation. Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission. Maintain accurate documentation within the agency's electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with Clinical Managers, Intake, Scheduling, Billing, Quality Assurance, and physicians' offices. Track aging physician orders and proactively resolve documentation issues. Support timely billing by ensuring required documentation is completed. Assist with compliance initiatives, audits, and quality improvement efforts. Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect confidential patient information. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Home Health experience required. Previous experience managing physician orders or clinical documentation strongly preferred. Knowledge of Medicare home health regulations and documentation requirements. Experience using home health EMR systems (WellSky/Kinnser or similar preferred). Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Why Join The Roads Home Health Care?
