This role is primarily based in our Bel Air clinic and serves as a key connection between patients and providers. Patient Care Coordinators play an essential role in ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and prepared for their visits. This position is ideal for individuals who value meaningful work, enjoy helping others, and want to grow within a stable healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth) Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions Manage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front office Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times Support clinic operations with additional duties as needed Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required Qualifications Experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role preferred Prior podiatric or orthopedic practice experience preferred Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred Strong communication skills and professional presence Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Exceptional customer service and patient-first mindset Reliable transportation required Who Will Thrive in This Role?
