The Director of Behavioral Health at the Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) provides professional leadership and oversight of the organization's behavioral health services, including outpatient mental health, substance abuse treatment, targeted case management, residential treatment, and parenting programs for children, adolescents, and adults. The Director works collaboratively with medical and behavioral health leadership to support integrated care, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and promote high-quality, sustainable clinical services. Responsibilities include overseeing daily behavioral health operations, supervising clinical and treatment staff, monitoring referrals and caseloads, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards, supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, and coordinating behavioral health services with primary care. Functions Include:

Oversee daily operations of mental health, substance abuse, targeted case management, and parenting programs. Supervise clinical supervisors and substance abuse treatment staff and provide performance feedback. Oversee referrals, intakes, case assignments, staffing, and service coordination. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, licensing, credentialing, and contractual requirements. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staff training in accordance with applicable standards. Ensure clinical privileging requirements are met for licensed independent providers. Support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and monitor program performance. Coordinate the integration of behavioral health and primary care services. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on integrated health services and strategic clinical initiatives. Provide or coordinate in-service training for staff and foster parents. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health field. Current Florida clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of behavioral health experience; chemical dependency experience preferred. Experience with healthcare, community health, or human services programs. Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and applicable regulatory and credentialing requirements. Valid Driver's License, current auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle Skills Needed Strong leadership, supervision, and team management skills. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and make independent decisions. Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, compliance, and quality standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems. Ability to work effectively with children, families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
