Bilingual Office Intake Home Health The Lakes Home Care - 1.3 Miami Lakes, FL Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Foreign language proficiency Home care experience Customer communication Home health agency experience Full Job Description Position Overview We are currently seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Bilingual Office Intake (English/Spanish) with a strong background in Home Health Agency operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing patient intake, staff coordination, authorizations, and recruitment support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner (English & Spanish). Manage patient intake process, including collecting documentation, verifying eligibility, and coordinating start of care. Handle insurance authorizations and renewals, ensuring timely submission and follow-up with payers. Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical patient records in compliance with Home Health regulations. Support staff recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding. Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure proper staffing and scheduling of patient services. Provide administrative support such as data entry, report generation, and document preparation. Assist with communication between patients, field staff, and management to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (required), with strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in a Home Health Agency (Required). Hands-on experience with insurance authorizations, intake processes, and patient coordination. Experience in recruiting healthcare staff (nurses, therapists, HHAs) is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EMR systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Customer service experience in a healthcare or bilingual setting is a plus.
