Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative and clinical support tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence while utilizing your strong organizational skills and healthcare knowledge. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and check-in/check-out efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks Schedule patient appointments accurately, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage clinic calendars with proficiency in medical scheduling tools Collect and process insurance information, including health insurance knowledge related to Medicare, HIPAA compliance, and medical billing procedures Review and update patient records ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and proper documentation review practices Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing electronic health records (EHR) management systems like Athenahealth or Meditech Support clinical staff by understanding medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards, and documentation requirements for care plans and billing processes Qualifications Previous front desk, receptionist, medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent customer service skills Professional telephone etiquette Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, and office software Ability to learn new administrative and healthcare systems Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures accurately Reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable Able to work independently while also functioning well as part of a team Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately Language Requirements Fluent English is required Spanish as a second language Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential About Raviva Healing Center Raviva Healing Center is a professional healthcare and wellness practice located in Plantation, Florida .
