Job Description
Part-Time Pediatric Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator Whole Health Pediatrics
•Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch, FL Whole Health Pediatrics is looking for an experienced pediatric medical assistant who is also comfortable handling front desk responsibilities. We are a small, cash-based concierge pediatric practice with a low-volume, personalized approach to care. This is a hands-on role in a small office, so we need someone dependable, friendly, organized, and able to work independently.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 1:00-5:00 PM Optional Friday hours, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Approximately 16-19 hours per week From 1:00-2:30 PM, you will primarily cover the front desk while our other medical assistant is still in the office. From 2:30-5:00 PM, you will manage the front desk while also rooming patients and preparing them for their visits.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and take accurate messages Greet families and check patients in Room pediatric patients and obtain accurate vital signs Prepare patients for well and sick visits Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready Communicate warmly and professionally with children and parents Help keep the afternoon schedule running smoothly
Qualifications:
Previous pediatric medical assistant experience is required Strong front desk and phone skills Comfortable working with infants, children, and adolescents Able to obtain age-appropriate pediatric measurements and vital signs Dependable, organized, and able to multitask Comfortable working independently in a small practice
