We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk. Your responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks that support the overall efficiency of our medical office, while also enhancing the patient experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a background in hospitality or front desk operations. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with insurance verification and patient registration processes. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate effective care. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. Support the medical staff with various tasks as needed to enhance office efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or front desk roles is preferred, especially in a healthcare or hospitality setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our patient community. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is a plus but not mandatory. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
