Job Overview:
The Telehealth Receptionist is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of telehealth appointments and providing excellent customer service to patients. Key Responsibilities:
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule and confirm telehealth appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of provider time and resources. Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed and communicate changes promptly to both patients and healthcare providers.
Patient Interaction:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls, emails, and online inquiries related to telehealth services. Provide clear instructions and assistance to patients on how to access and use telehealth platforms.
Administrative Support:
Verify patient information, and update records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Technical Assistance:
Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to telehealth software and hardware, and guide patients through troubleshooting steps.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointment details, and any relevant documentation.
Customer Service:
Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner. Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by providing timely and effective support.
Qualifications:
