We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of insurance processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and follow up to confirm attendance Greet and check in patients upon arrival, verifying demographic information Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from patients and external parties Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents Work closely with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims accurately
