Job Description
Seeking compassionate, hands-on experienced Medical Practice Administrator to be responsible for overseeing all administrative and business operations of a growing practice. This position interacts with patients, physician owners and directly supervises managers and support staff. The right candidate must be organized and possess the ability to lead by example and balance the day-to-day challenges of a high-volume practice. The duties of the Medical Practice Administrator role include but is not limited to:
- Providing direction and oversight of the front desk area to include check in/out, insurance verification, referrals, scheduling, prior authorizations, and time-of-service (TOS) collections
- Performance and oversight of outside billing company to make sure all claims are submitted and payments posted electronically. Track our Account Receivables for needed insurance appeals and follow up.
- Managing day to day operations of the practice
- Interviewing/hiring/training and termination when needed. Development of employees and HR related functions
- Overseeing payroll and managing Accounts Payable and bookkeeping functions
- Providing support for practice growth
