We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Patient Financial Coordinator to join a specialized health clinic in Athens. Enjoy a standard 40-hour workweek with a twist that lets you start your weekend early:Mon/Wed/Thu:
8:00 AM•5:00PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM•7:00 PM (Clinic late night)Friday:
8:00 AM•2:00 PM (Work through lunch and head home early!)What You Will Do:
Guide patients through healthcare plan applications during Open Enrollment (ACA/Marketplace). Certify program eligibility by reviewing financial and residency documentation. Coordinate insurance enrollment, premium payments, and benefit changes with carriers and pharmacies. Maintain accurate records in specialized state and federal tracking systems.What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
3+ years in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or social services.Skills:
Strong Excel skills and the ability to calculate financial eligibility based on federal guidelines.Knowledge:
Familiarity with Georgia Medicaid (GAMMIS) or healthcare marketplace navigation is highly preferred.Qualities:
