Clinical Licensure is required for this position. The selected candidate must be a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Under the direction of the Forensic Housing Administrator, the Forensic Statewide Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the clinical oversight, compliance, and operational effectiveness of Georgia's Forensic Community Integration Homes (CIHs) and Forensic Apartments. Key Responsibilities Clinical Coordination- Assist in coordinating successful admissions into Georgia's Forensic CIHs and Forensic Apartments.
- Track and ensure clinical intake assessments for new admissions are conducted and documented per policy.
- Attend monthly CIH clinical meetings with CFD, FCC, Team Lead, etc. to ensure clinical needs are being met.
- Participate in discharge planning meetings to facilitate smooth transitions into CIHs and Forensic Apartments. Site Visits & Compliance Monitoring
- Conduct bi-monthly site visits at CIHs to ensure compliance, safety, and quality of care for all residents and staff.
- Conduct bi-annual site visits at Forensic Apartments to assess compliance with benefits and medication oversight.
- Perform regular inspections of Forensic properties, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and well-maintained per regulatory standards.
- Complete an annual Risk Assessment for each CIH to identify and mitigate potential risks. Training & Policy Implementation
- Train staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and DBHDD policies to enhance CIH efficiency.
- Ensure CIH Team Leads are well-trained on SOPs and any policy changes or modifications.
- Promote a culture of safety by training staff on emergency preparedness, behavioral support plans, and individualized recovery plans (IRPs). Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Audit client records at CIHs to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with best practices.
- Ensure individualized treatment plans are properly implemented and managed.
- Monitor the use of clinical best practices in resident care and ensure CIH Team Leads are trained accordingly.
- Ensure completion of required safety drills (fire drills, disaster drills, medical competency checks, environmental safety checklists, etc.).
- Submit administrative reviews and investigative reports as required. Community Service Liaison
- Act as a statewide liaison between DBHDD and all Community Service Boards (CSBs) under the direction of Forensic Housing Administration, attending scheduled monthly meetings.
- Assess Community Services and Partnerships o Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and accessibility of current community services and partnerships across all CIHs statewide.
- Develop and Maintain a
Resource Database:
Maintain an up-to-date list of local and statewide resources for staff and resident use. Leadership & Operational Support- Monitor resident behavior reports, identify potential risks, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Provide direct supervision of all CIH Team Leads.
- Monitor and manage employee productivity, ensuring adherence to all HR and administrative requirements.
- Ensure adequate staffing across all CIHs.
- Disseminate critical information from leadership meetings to maintain clear communication.
- Conduct ad hoc staff meetings as needed to discuss updates and operational priorities.
- Establish performance improvement goals and audits to enhance program services.
- Serve as a temporary Team Lead in the absence of the assigned Team Lead.
- Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience performing work related to the area of assignment, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Prgm Consultant 3 (HCP092) or position equivalent.Additional Information Agency Logo:
