Job Overview Sun Wellness in Sandy Springs is an award-winning holistic healthcare practice focused on chiropractic and acupuncture therapy, herbal medicine and functional nutrition. We are seeking an Office Manager to join our warm and friendly team where you play an essential role in helping us deliver on our mission to help others feel better and improve the quality of their lives.
About Our Practice:
We have multiple award winning practitioners and provide a range of services including chiropractic care and acupuncture. We also partner with practitioners of massage therapy nutritional counseling and energy medicine. We have worked hard to create a loving, supportive, friendly and family focused community.Position Overview:
The Office Manager must be reliable and timely. Must be organized, proactive and interested in helping others. We are looking for a warm and genuine person with a positive and friendly disposition. Needs to be interested in working in a therapeutic setting with a holistic approach to provide the best possible patient experience. Your role as our office manager will allow you to use your gifts and talents to make a real difference in people's lives. We are located in Sandy Springs off Roswell Road near Abernathy Road and will be moving to Dunwoody (Peeler Rd. and Chamblee Dunwoody Rd.) by the end of the year. Please consider your commute time before applying.Practice Office Hours and Office Manager Work Schedule:

for 30 hours a week.Compensation and Additional Benefits:
Salary:
$ 18.00 to 20.00/hr depending on experience. Bonus pay is available as well. As part of this position, you will receive up to 2 chiropractic and acupuncture treatments per month at no cost to you. Nutritional supplements are provided at wholesale cost. Responsibilities and Duties The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the practice . The Office Manager duties include, greeting patients; answering telephone calls; scheduling appointments; handling patient check-in and check-out procedures, insurance verification, preparation of charts, and payment collection; addressing customer and/or patient needs, tracking basic inventory and reordering supplies as needed; tidying and basic upkeep of the general office and reception area; and performing other duties as needed to keep the reception area and practice office running smoothly. Supplies and supplements monitored and re-ordered according to changes in inventory. After hours messages/voicemails returned once each business day to prepare for the following day. Skills and Competencies Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and spoken; demonstrates focus in a confident, friendly and outgoing manner. Ability to clearly and patiently communicate in person and on the phone with patients, customers and practitioners. Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities within specific deadlines; detail oriented. Technology/computer savvy; Mac/Apple familiar preferred. Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improved processes Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently Friendly and helpful disposition with the ability to remain calm during stressful situations. A team player, pro-active, flexible with a positive attitude. Continuous learner who is open to coaching and constructive feedback; willing and unafraid to ask questions or ask for help when unclear or confused. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants of all ages with healthcare, hospitality, customer service or office experience are warmly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be able to work the practice office hours schedule listed above. Experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service or professional office environment is very helpful. Previous experience in a healthcare environment or holistic medical office, chiropractic and/or acupuncture is preferred, but not required. Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software via manuals and in-person training is required. Previous experience with health insurance verification process and insurance billing, as well as payment data is a plus, but not required.Application Process:
