Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive compassionate support and seamless administrative assistance. Your proactive approach will help streamline patient flow, coordinate appointments, and facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our EMR system, Athena Health. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and patient demographics maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment instructions, and follow-up care. Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, managing documentation, and handling administrative tasks efficiently. Perform insurance eligibility verification. Maintain a clean, organized front office environment while adhering to all health and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience working in a medical office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Office experience demonstrating proficiency with scheduling systems, electronic health records (EHR), and general administrative tasks. Experience with our EMR system Athena Health is a plus. Exceptional communication skills combined with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy healthcare setting. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
