What You'll Do (and Why It Matters) You'll be the trusted guide for patients as they prepare for surgery—answering questions, easing nerves, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Your impact will be felt long after the appointment ends.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling oral surgery and related appointments Coordinating tests, referrals, and insurance authorizations Explaining surgical expectations, financial responsibilities, and next steps Helping patients understand insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs Filing medical and dental claims accurately and timely Working closely with doctors, clinical staff, and referring dentists Delivering outstanding customer service in a high-volume, fast-moving practice If you enjoy being the calm, confident voice patients rely on—you'll thrive here. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of surgery scheduling experience Strong understanding of healthcare planning and insurance processes Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills Comfort using Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to juggle priorities in a busy clinical environment Work Environment Modern, well-lit, climate-controlled oral surgery clinics Exposure to clinical settings (blood, bodily fluids, sharps) Regular travel between our Pooler, Rincon, and Savannah locations Position Details Full-Time or Part-Time Four-Day Work Week 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day shift only Why You'll Love Working Here Paid weekly 401(k) with matching + profit sharing Health insurance & HSA Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Employee discounts A team culture that truly supports you
